When you hire me to create a piece of art based on your request. Some things to keep in mind when requesting a commissioned piece: I only paint in my style. Please do not ask me to recreate another artists work or paint in 'realistic' colors. I am a portrait artist, I do not do landscapes or still life for commissions. Ask me to paint any face whether human or animal and I'm your girl. I will provide you with an estimated time it will take to produce your art. My fees like my original pieces and are based on size and time. Commissioned art fees are split into 2 equal payments. Half will be required up front and the remaining once the piece is completed. My pricing includes shipping fees. There is a section on my site under Commissions that provides 4 steps to get started. It is also helpful if you know whether you want a gallery or a standard size canvas. The difference is the depth (canvas edge) is either thinner or it is wider.

All of my pieces are made with acrylic paint and oil pastels. I will note in my descriptions if the art is rendered on anything other than canvas. There are standard type of canvases with a depth of .5 inch. Or there are what is referred to as 'gallery' canvas, these canvases have at least 1 - 2 inch depth and can either be unframed or framed. All of my pieces are sprayed with a fixative and layered with a top coat that is a satin varnish finish with UV protectant to keep the colors if in direct sunlight.

Framing a piece of artwork will be up to the buyer unless the artwork description specially states that it is framed. There are standard type of canvases with a depth of .5 inch. Or there are what is referred to as 'gallery' canvas, these canvases have at least 1 - 2 inch depth and can either be unframed or framed. You can either choose to frame, or not the pieces look great on your walls either way. All art is shipped not ready to be hung so you can decide to frame the piece or not.

All artwork will be shipped in appropriate shipping materials to protect the pieces via Fedex. All tracking information will be provided.
